Members consist of individuals who support the objectives and purposes of the LSWN.
Classes of Members
REGULAR
Degreed members who possess a B.S.W., M.S.W., Ph.D./Social Work or D.S.W. Members of this class shall be eligible to vote and hold office. Social Work students are included in this class and are eligible to vote and hold office.
ASSOCIATE
Non-degreed members are individuals who are employed in a health and human services agency or institution, but have not earned a B.S.W., M.S.W., Ph.D./Social Work, or a D.S.W. Members of this class who are current in their dues shall be eligible to vote and or hold office in the affiliate but cannot vote or be elected or serve as a representative at the state level.
HONORARY MEMBERS
Individuals with outstanding performances on behalf of the Latino community. Honorary members have promoted the efforts of Latino social work professionals to improve the quality of life of Latinos in Orange County. These individuals are designated at the discretion of the LSWN Board, are not required to pay dues, do not have voting privileges and are ineligible to hold office.
